About RECCO35

Renewable energy should be easier to bring to consumers.

Sustainable living environment with natural light and plants
A rising opportunity segment Sustainability-minded consumers are becoming a more visible market segment for owners and operators to understand, reach, and serve.

The shift

Renewable energy options have been available to large businesses and corporations for years. They have been much less visible in everyday consumer markets, where people make choices about where to live, where to charge, and which businesses reflect their values.

RECCO35 helps close that gap by making renewable energy supported benefits easier for owners and operators to offer, document, and communicate.

Our mission

RECCO35 helps owners and operators turn renewable energy into a clear customer benefit.

We identify sustainability-minded prospects, enable a credible renewable energy claim, and provide messaging that helps attract and retain renters, drivers, and customers.

What RECCO35 adds

A simple renewable energy supported position

In plain English: renters do not need to understand renewable energy certificates (RECs). RECs are the standard accounting tool used to document renewable electricity support. RECCO35 handles the procurement, retirement, accounting, and documentation behind the claim.

Renter intelligence

reach

Reach green-minded renters

RECCO35 can provide permitted audience outreach support, subject to data availability and permitted use, so the operator can bring the green-energy benefit to renters most likely to value it.

Built to support prospect outreach The core offer is the documented renewable energy supported benefit. RECCO35 helps operators identify and reach renters most likely to value it.

Audience data and permitted uses are subject to source availability, applicable privacy and marketing laws, and the terms of your RECCO35 agreement.

A low-cost differentiation lever

Add a credible point of difference at a manageable price.

Concessions may remain part of a competitive luxury leasing strategy. RECCO35 adds something different: a documented green-energy benefit and targeted prospect intelligence for $5 per unit per month in multifamily.

Illustrative concession $2,000–$7,000

For one lease-up

One or two months of free rent at $2,000–$3,500 per month can erase thousands in revenue on a single lease.

Illustrative context only. Actual concessions vary by market, rent, property, and lease terms. RECCO35 complements the existing leasing strategy; it does not replace concessions or guarantee leasing results.

The credible green story

Turn existing sustainability investments into a message renters understand.

Luxury renters still lead with location, rent, floor plan, amenities, and service. Sustainability becomes meaningful when those fundamentals are comparable.

The documented renewable energy support gives your existing green features a credible operating story that can help tip preference toward your community.

01

Cover units and common areas

Account for estimated electricity used inside apartments plus corridors, elevators, amenities, garages, exterior lighting, pumps, and central systems.

02

Document the electricity support

Procure and retire the RECs needed to match annual covered electricity use, with records that support the claim.

03

Make a clear, supportable claim

Receive documentation supporting the message that your community’s covered electricity use is 100% renewable energy supported.

Multifamily program estimate

Flat pricing with a clear resident pass-through.

For multifamily, RECCO35 is priced at a fixed $5 per apartment unit each month, intended to be passed through in rent or resident charges. That program fee includes REC procurement and retirement for covered electricity use, accounting, documentation, claim support, a local green-renter profile, and permitted audience outreach support.

The estimate below illustrates the electricity support RECCO35 would plan for under the flat program fee. The common-area allowance is included in the model and is not a separate operator charge.

Final support levels may be refined using available property utility data. Minimums apply.

EV charging application

Make the charge feel as green as the drive.

For charging owners, networks, and site hosts, RECCO35 enables renewable energy supported charging as a benefit included in the charging price.

Driver-facing benefit Renewable energy supported charging
01

Align charging with driver expectations

EV drivers have already made a cleaner transportation choice. A renewable energy supported charging message reinforces that choice at the point of charge.

02

Differentiate sites and networks

Charging owners, site hosts, and operators can present a green-energy supported charging benefit as a reason to choose their location or network.

03

Target green-minded drivers

RECCO35 can build a local profile around charging locations and, where available and permitted, support outreach to green-minded drivers.

EV charging program estimate

Volume-based pricing with a clear pass-through fee.

For EV charging, RECCO35 is priced at less than $0.01 per kWh of covered charging volume, modeled below at $0.01 per kWh for planning. The program fee includes REC procurement and retirement for covered charging electricity, accounting, documentation, claim support, a local green-driver profile, and permitted audience outreach support.

The estimate below assumes a base driver charging rate of $0.35 per kWh before the RECCO35 fee. Operators can use actual charging data when available, or estimate volume from ports, sessions, and average energy delivered per session.

The RECCO35 fee is intended to be passed through in the charging price, so the renewable energy supported benefit is included in what the driver pays at the charger.
